H 344 – Foundations of Environmental Health (3)

Identifies environmentally-linked disease, population growth, and health concerns associated with toxic substances, food quality, air pollution, water pollution, noise, solid and hazardous waste, and pesticide use. Explores scientific topics related to environmental health in a global context that impact our collective environment. Compares and contrasts select environmental problems in the US to those that occur in the global community. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
