WGSS 350 – Politics of Motherhood in a Global Context (3)

Introduces students to the politics of motherhood in global contexts, focusing on politics of transnational adoption; motherhood, surrogacy, and biotechnologies; effects of globalization on mothering across borders; mothering in the global welfare state; movements for reproductive justice; and transnational representations of motherhood. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
