PS 367 – Confronting the Canon (4)
Examines some of the canonical ideas and texts in the history of Western political thought. Considers works by authors including Plato, Aristotle, Machiavelli, Hobbes, Locke, Rousseau, J.S. Mill, and Marx. Describes and analyzes many of the key ideas that have shaped the Western political tradition, as well as critiques of them. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
