PSY 370 – Personality (4)

Provides an in-depth analysis of topics related to personality psychology introduced in lower-division coursework. Explores major theories of personality from a variety of perspectives; culturally responsive personality assessment; and contemporary personality research across diverse populations. Examines the influence of culture, social context, and individual differences on personality development and expression. Emphasizes critical evaluation of empirical research, assessment validity across cultural groups, and theoretical models beyond the introductory level in personality psychology.
