ANTH 374 – +biosocial Approaches to Global Health Inequity (4)

Explores why only some people and places in the world have well-functioning health systems and freedom from various kinds of health risks, what global health programs and movements have tried to do about these inequities, and what students, professionals, and communities need to do together to achieve big gains in health equity today. Emphasizes that seeking solutions requires understanding how biophysical and socio-cultural processes interact to impact human health.
