ANTH 411 – +Anthropology of Difference, Power, and Oppression (4)

Explores how anthropological concepts and methods can be used to understand how forms of difference are linked to structures and systems of power to produce inequity and oppression. Assesses anthropology’s role in efforts to advance social justice, building on the discipline’s successes and learning from its failures using historical and contemporary case studies.
