H 414 – Be the Change for Global Health Transformation (3)

Learn how stigma and discrimination create differences in access to resources and lead to health injustice and disparities. Draw on social justice and community mobilization frameworks to explore health-related social movements and social change necessary to improve public health throughout the world. Contextualize local work to eliminate health disparities in the United States within a global context and as part of global processes. Learn how community mobilization can lead to the transformation of structures, systems, and ideologies that drive discrimination and health disparities. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
