Introduces students to theoretical knowledge in the field of science communication along with important concepts and applied issues concerning effective science communication. Utilizes a social scientific approach to provide students with a broad overview and foundation for understanding science communication, including the background, purpose, theory, and practice of science communication. Applies this knowledge and creates a science communication for the benefit of a real-world client. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course.
