SOC 438 – US Immigration Issues in the 21st Century (4)

Provides a critical overview of immigration to the United States from a socio-historic perspective. Examines how successive waves of immigrants have influenced American society from the earliest groups of Europeans in the 19th century to the most recently arriving immigrants from Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
