TRAL 457 – +Planning for Sustainable Tourism (4)

Examines relationships among tourists, tourism developments, and tourist attractions and services planning. Focuses on planning tourist resources and programs within a geographic region and at both the destination and site levels. Explores and applies planning tools and design concepts focusing on the ecological, social, cultural, and political dimensions of tourism functions. Emphasizes collaborative and participatory planning approaches, enabling diverse stakeholder perspectives to be heard.
