GEOG 460 – GIS and Spatial Data Science (4)

Focuses on practical applications of technologies and problem solving skills to spatial analysis within a geographic information system (GIS). Develops a foundation in spatial thinking and guides students through the process of designing and conducting spatial analyses applied to geographic problems. Builds skills using various forms of spatial data, models and techniques including spatial statistics and spatial data science. Emphasizes application and synthesis in a spatial analysis project including written and oral presentation. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
