KIN 475 – +Power and Privilege in Sport (3)
Explores issues of power and privilege in sport, including race, gender, sexual orientation, social class, disability, and aggression. Examines the consequences of long-held societal norms, beliefs, values, and stereotypes based on ascribed differences in the context of sport. Emphasizes the inequitable distribution of power and resources in sports and sport organizations. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course.
