FES 554 – Forestry in the Wildland-urban Interface (3)

Explores the challenges and complexities of managing forests within the wildland-urban interface. Examines the issue from social, ecological, economic, and political viewpoints. Gains understanding of the dynamic interactions between urban and development and forest ecosystem through the lens of topics such as forest health, wildland fire, urban forestry, land use planning, and broader natural resource management.
