ED 557 – Special Education Literacy (3)
Provides teachers with practical strategies for designing effective reading interventions and promoting literacy development, with a focus on special education and Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports (MTSS). Critically examines evidence-based practices related to assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating reading interventions for diverse learners and struggling readers. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
