AHE 612 – Applied Research Methods in Higher Education (3)

Emphasizes applied research methods used in educational settings to improve practice. Identifies and inventories localized problems of practice within the workplace and explores the relationship between problems of practice and applied research. Outlines the necessary steps to complete an applied dissertation and explores research and data collection methods. Reviews ethical issues associated with designing and conducting applied research for higher education. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course.
