COUN 534 – Pediatric Psychopharmacology for School Personnel (1)

Introduces schoolteachers, counselors and social workers to the fundamentals of pediatric psychopharmacology. Basics of pharmacology, adverse effects, indications, and drug interactions will be discussed. This course does not purport to prepare the student to be any part of the pharmacological prescriptive process; that is the purview of the medically trained person. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
