FOR 431 – Economics and Policy of Forest Wildland Fire (3)
Explores current issues in wildfire policy and management. Analyzes relevant laws and regulations, including liability standards and air quality rules. Uses an economic framework for evaluating allocation of resources, the role of incentives and risk preferences, and for valuation of forest assets under risk. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
