HHS 578 – Evidence-based Public Health I (3)
Evidence-based public health is the process of integrating science-based interventions with community preferences to improve the health of populations. This is the first in a two-course series and provides theoretical and practical bases to identify, implement and evaluate evidence-based research (i.e. programs, surveillance, policies). Students will develop skills to select and adapt evidence-based public health programming for a specific community and/or population. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
