HORT 217 – Social Impacts of Science (3)

Contemporary societies provide funding for scientific research, at the same time they struggle with existing and emerging societal problems. This course will discuss how social problems can be addressed by science and technology, and how the impacts of research are quantified. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
