HORT 344 – Insect and Disease Management in Organic Cropping Systems (3)
Emphasizes basic concepts of applied entomology and plant pathology. Focuses on real-world application of science-, practice-, and regulation-based insect and disease management information in certified organic cropping systems. Designs and evaluates organic insect and disease management toolboxes and plans using the National Organic Program as a starting point as well as detailed farm case studies and research-based management information. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
