PHL 321 – Deductive Logic (4)
Development of formal language and deductive systems for first-order, quantificational logic. Emphasis on translation of ordinary English statements into formal language. Discussion of the contrast between semantic and syntactic treatment of logical concepts. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course.
