SOC 207 – Problems in Crime and Justice (3)
Analyzes contemporary issues in crime and justice, with a focus on U.S. society. Explores the causes and consequences of major problems and issues in crime and justice including gang activity, terrorism, white collar and environmental crime, gun attitudes and violence, challenges associated with policing, drug use, and mass incarceration. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
