WGSS 476 – Transnational Sexualities (4)
Explores contemporary experiences of sexualities within transnational contexts. Analyzes themes including queer and LGBTQI organizing, same-sex desires, queer transnational immigration and labor flows, sex industries and discourses of trafficking, sex tourism, and reproductive justice, using feminist, queer, and postcolonial theoretical frameworks. CROSSLISTED as QS 476/WGSS 476 and QS 576/WGSS 576. (Bacc Core Course) This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course.
