MTH 251 – Differential Calculus (4)
Differential calculus for engineers and scientists. Rates of change: the derivative, velocity, and acceleration. The algebraic rules of differential calculus and derivatives of polynomial, rational, and trigonometric functions. Maximum-minimum problems, curve sketching, and other applications. Antiderivatives and simple motion problems. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
