HORT 226 – Landscape Plant Materials I: Deciduous Hardwoods and Conifers (4)

Identification of trees, shrubs, vines, and ground covers used in landscape horticulture. Basic plant taxonomy, nomenclature, anatomy, and use of plants in the landscape. Diverse plant material covered with an emphasis on deciduous hardwoods and conifers. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course.
