SPAN 355 – Introduction to Spanish Translation (3)
Combines beginning translation theory with hands-on practice using a variety of activities from several areas of professional specialization. Introduces the uses and limits of automatic translators. Includes a brief introduction to simultaneous interpretation as it is done in professional conference settings. Taught in English and Spanish; participants must be proficient in both. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
