Staff Bio

I am an Instructional Design Specialist at Ecampus. I have a BS in Science, a BA in Liberal Studies, and an MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. Before joining Ecampus as an instructional designer, I had been a full-time instructor at Oregon State University, where I taught English to international students. I began my career in higher education in 2009 as a teaching assistant in the Multicultural Academic Program at Portland Community College. I have also taught courses at Rogue Community College, Southern Oregon University, and abroad. Before I started my teaching career, I spent several years working in forestry at the Portland Forestry Sciences Laboratory. Having taught both domestically and internationally in a variety of contexts, I bring a deep appreciation and enthusiasm for quality course design that is accessible and meets both students’ and instructors’ needs.
