Successful business foundation

The OSU business and entrepreneurship minor teaches you to recognize business ventures, equips you with skills to secure funding and provides insight on how to manage the commercialization of the business opportunity. Fundamental business classes are combined with curriculum designed to specifically address the challenges of launching a new venture or an idea within an existing organization. With innovative course work taught by dedicated professors, the business and entrepreneurship minor provides students with essential techniques for identifying and commercializing business opportunities in any type of organization. 

Adding a minor in business and entrepreneurship is a good companion to most Ecampus bachelor programs. This minor equips you with the foundational skills to better understand business concepts which is a valuable skill in the professional workplace. Today's employers are looking for well-rounded employees whether you are in natural resources, liberal studies, economics or any other career field.

Course work

The business and entrepreneurship minor online requires a total of 32 credit hours. All courses are offered online throughout the year, including Summer term. Courses must be taken in sequence.

If you do not meet the requirements to register for one of the business and entrepreneurship courses, you may request an override from the College of Business to be allowed to register.
