ECE 330 – Power up! (4)

Explores the fundamentals of electrical energy generation, transmission, and distribution, along with modern trends for renewable generation and load, energy storage, and transportation electrification. Topics including fundamentals of the power grid; types of generation and their characteristics; types of loads; power conversion technologies such as DC to AC converters; energy storage technologies; and social, environmental, and economic factors of power technologies. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
