GER 350 – Introduction to German Linguistics (3)
Introduces the linguistic structure of German and its variations through linguistic problem-solving. Explores what comprises the German language and how it is used today. Examines linguistic subfields and their relationship with a special focus on morphology, syntax, semantics and pragmatics. Develops skills for language analysis and applied linguistic knowledge in order to improve comprehension and communication skills in German. Taught in German. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
