Reading Intervention Endorsement
Address the literacy needs of your students
The reading intervention endorsement, delivered by Oregon State’s College of Education, is designed to give educators expertise in evidence-based reading instruction, intervention, and leadership, with a focus on supporting multilingual learners. The endorsement serves K-12 pre-service and in-service teachers at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Developed in partnership with Oregon school districts
The program is in alignment with TSPC Literacy Program Standards and Oregon's Early Literacy Framework. The curriculum emphasizes research‑based reading models, foundational literacy skills, assessment and diagnosis, intervention within MTSS frameworks, and leadership for schoolwide literacy initiatives.
The endorsement is 15 credits total and includes an internship.
