Curriculum

With a focus on using consumer behavior, integrated marketing communications and relevant analytics to build and sustain brand loyalty, the online coursework in Oregon State’s marketing bachelor’s degree program will teach you all about the vital role marketing plays in the business enterprise.

You’ll not only learn the fundamental principles of marketing and market research, but you’ll also dive deep into the complex world of customer behavior and marketing strategy. The curriculum explores how human behavior impacts marketing decisions and how data can be leveraged to impact strategy.

Transfer credits

Some degree requirements may be transferred from other institutions. Please note that a minimum of 45 credits of the last 75 credits in this degree program must be completed at Oregon State (online or on campus) to meet the academic residency requirement.

Previously earned credits will need to be reviewed upon admittance to OSU for appropriate articulation. Additional information about transferring credits is available through OSU’s Transfer Credit Central.

Hybrid (remote + online) courses

As a College of Business student, you have the ability to supplement your online learning experience with regularly scheduled class meetings that are held remotely.

These hybrid courses have 50% of the class meetings at regularly scheduled times on Zoom and 50% of the class meetings conducted asynchronously online in Canvas. The courses feature regular weekly class meeting times on Zoom and will not meet on campus.

With this blended learning experience, you’ll benefit from completing innovative coursework online while satisfying your preference for real-time interaction with peers and faculty.
