With a focus on using consumer behavior, integrated marketing communications and relevant analytics to build and sustain brand loyalty, the online coursework in Oregon State’s marketing bachelor’s degree program will teach you all about the vital role marketing plays in the business enterprise.

Degree requirements
A minimum of 180 quarter credits are required to graduate with your marketing bachelor’s degree. You must complete the major requirements as well as Oregon State’s Baccalaureate Core requirements.

Specializations
The program’s four marketing-themed specializations complement the curriculum’s foundational core business courses. Choose one that most aligns with your interests:
- Consumer insights: Delve into data through business analytics, qualitative research and managing customer relationships using technology.
- Marketing and digital communications: Discover how communications influence buyers’ behaviors, and learn about 21st century digital and web marketing tactics.
- Marketing management: Prepare for leadership roles by choosing from courses such as global marketing, retail management and services marketing.
- Professional sales and personal selling: Learn the principles of sales opportunities in various contexts, and hone your negotiation and conflict management skills.

Transfer credits
Some degree requirements may be transferred from other institutions. Please note that a minimum of 45 credits of the last 75 credits in this degree program must be completed at Oregon State (online or on campus) to meet the academic residency requirement.

* Oregon State University is on a quarter-term system. There are four quarters each year and classes are 11 weeks long. This program's 180 quarter credits are equal to 120 semester credits.
