GEO 100 – +Natural Disasters: Hollywood Versus Reality (4)
Introduces natural hazards, as seen through the lens of popular media and compared to foundational concepts in the physical sciences. Explores the causes and consequences of natural disasters via exercises and activities designed to develop students' skills in critical thinking, scientific analysis and problem solving. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
