COMM 114 – +Argument and Critical Discourse (3)

Focuses on audience-centered “everyday” reasoned discourse. Addresses the nature and role of argument in learning, dialogue, deliberation, and decision-making. Includes material on ways that arguers try to gain adherence, such as providing reasons to justify actions, attitudes, beliefs, values, and needs. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
