ED 216 – +purpose, Structure, and Function of Education in a Democracy (3)
Explores the historical, social, philosophical, political, legal, and economic foundations of education in Oregon and the United States. Emphasizes the changing role of public education in our democracy and legal and cultural shifts towards including and valuing all voices. Examines contemporary education issues through discussions of evolving educational practices and personal K-12 experiences. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
