WLC 232 – +Traditional Chinese Culture (3)

Provides a survey of the development of Chinese culture from prehistoric times to the end of the 19th century. Analyzes the teachings of major Chinese philosophies and religions. Describes the Chinese language and the evolution of its writing system. Examines the achievements in literature and the arts, science, and technology. Explains Chinese social and political institutions. Discusses trades and cultural interactions with other countries. Taught in English.
