ANTH 240 – +Introduction to Biological Anthropology (4)
Investigates origins of modern people (Homo sapiens), using evolutionary and anthropological approaches, including understanding our connection with non-human primates. Explores human biological variation and its adaptive significance using key bio-anthropology concepts and methods, including discussion of historical interpretations of this variation. Discusses current research and career opportunities in bio-anthropology. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course.
