HST 248 – +Mexicans in the Making of America (4)
Examines the profound and enduring contributions of Mexican communities to the social, cultural, and economic fabric of the United States. Includes a multifaceted analysis of Mexican communities. Evaluates how Mexican labor, culture, and political movements have shaped, and continue to shape, the nation. Examines themes of identity, citizenship, and transnational dynamics across time, focusing on the struggles and achievements of Mexican Americans within the broader context of U.S. history. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
