GEO 305 – +society and Volcanoes (4)
Explores volcanism on Earth and the impact of volcanic activity on people, infrastructure, and natural resources around the world. Examines the procedures, protocols, and technologies applied to mitigating hazard and risk to societies. Emphasizes the roles and interactions of different stakeholders (public, press, authorities, scientists) during volcanic crises. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
