HDFS 463 – Trauma-informed Family Practices (4)

Uses a holistic approach to examine factors that shape the diversity of trauma experiences, particularly for oppressed and marginalized families. Investigates evidence-based programs and practices that address trauma and support individual and family resilience. Applies trauma-informed approaches to begin to help individuals and families resolve trauma. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course.
