PSY 488 – +psychology of Trauma, Oppression, and Resilience (4)

Focuses on the psychological science of humans' reactions to traumatic events. Critically examines the social and cultural context for those events and reactions, including systemic racism, sexism, and other forms of oppression. Explores the psychological science of healing, resilience, and liberation, in the context of evidence-based clinical psychological treatments, institutional courage, and societal change. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
