COUN 529 – Developmental Perspectives in Counseling (4)

Explores affective, behavioral, cognitive, moral, and physical development for human growth and maturation across the lifespan. Differentiates between theories of personality, learning, and human development. Analyzes internal, situational, and environmental factors and events that impact human development, functioning, and behavior. Identifies and explains ethical considerations in working with diverse clients/students at various developmental levels. Creates culturally-informed intervention plans to facilitate academic, social/emotional, and career development of clients. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
