COUN 538 – Supporting Diverse Populations in K-12 Schools (3)

Explores the selection and application of curriculum and the understanding of the classroom teaching experience as it relates to all student populations including ELL and SPED. Examines and understands the unique strengths and needs, assessment process, and state and federal law associated with these populations in order to effectively be able to support them and their families. Identifies the specialized school programs and state and national regulations that support a variety of learning in a collaborative framework. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
