As a Student Success Counselor I value the unique experience of each student and I work in partnership to support them through their individual journey at OSU. I currently work with Ecampus Fisheries and Wildlife Science students to improve academic skills, to identify support resources, and to address obstacles to academic success.

I am originally from southern Oregon but I have live in New York, Florida and Spain. I have worked in education for the majority of my life and have had the rare opportunity to work with students from Pre-Kindergarten to adult learners in the community college setting. I hold a Master’s degree in Adult and Continuing Education and a Graduate Certificate in Academic Advising from Kansas State University and I completed my undergraduate degree in Social and Behavioral Science at Linfield College.

I have had the opportunity to work with college students in Academic Advising, college support as a Student Success Coach and as an instructor teaching College Survival and Success and College Study Skills. I have worked with both traditional and non-traditional students and have experienced online education firsthand as a graduate student. It is truly an honor to support students throughout their educational journey and I feel privileged that my career allows me the opportunity to encourage success in others.
