The Agricultural and Resource Economics Department (AREC), in the College of Agricultural Sciences, has a proud history of research and education in agricultural and resource economics and policy. Our faculty are committed to education, research, and outreach across a breadth of topics, including economic and policy dimensions of climate change, marine resources, endangered species, biodiversity, land and water use, agricultural production systems, and rural development.
