Marinda Peters

Ecampus student named Oregon's top counselor

Marinda Peters knew from a young age that she wanted to be a counselor for elementary school students. Not only did she land her dream job, but she also is being recognized as one of the best in her field.

This fall Marinda was honored as the Oregon School Counselor of the Year thanks to her influential work at Fern Hill Elementary School in Forest Grove. It's even more impressive considering she is also a standout student in the Ecampus Ph.D. in Counseling program.
