Oregon State’s online supply chain program aims to meet rapidly growing industry needs

Oregon State University’s new online Graduate Certificate in Supply Chain and Logistics Management will help students develop a mastery of international operations as they learn to use data-driven, critical thinking to provide goods to customers worldwide.

To help answer a nationwide call for professionally trained workers who can manage global supply chains, Oregon State University now offers a Graduate Certificate in Supply Chain and Logistics Management 100 percent online.

In as little as nine months, students can earn an advanced business credential and establish themselves as in-demand professionals in a fast-growing industry in the service and manufacturing sectors and in government agencies.

Delivered online by Oregon State Ecampus, this program combines top-ranked faculty from OSU’s College of Business, leading-edge curriculum and a graduate student network with the flexibility of online learning. Those elements will enable students to acquire a solid mastery of international operations and learn how to use data-driven, critical thinking to provide goods to customers worldwide.

Over a quarter-million supply chain job openings each year

According to a 2018 report by MHI – the nation’s largest material handling, logistics and supply chain association – there will be 270,000 job openings per year in supply chain and logistics over the next five years.

Those who complete the graduate certificate will step into the job market a step above others, armed with the analytical and managerial skills to lead in an increasingly competitive global business environment.
