College Credit for High School Students - Success Online

Set yourself up for success

Learning online can be a challenge. We’re here to help. Finding success in an online classroom is at your fingertips. Here are a few suggestions on how to start:

  • Preview the course site: Course organization can differ online. Log in to your online course and learn how to navigate the contents before the first day of classes.
  • Your syllabus is your friend: Develop a habit of using the syllabus as the guiding document for your class and pay attention to technology expectations and assignment deadlines.
  • Make a schedule: Online classes are just as much of a time commitment as on-campus classes. Designate your own “class time” and protect it from the other demands on your time.
  • Play an active role: Engage with your classmates and instructors online, which will help you understand the material better and find quick answers to your questions.
  • Technology is important: Make sure you have a reliable computer and strong internet connection for your online courses. You can check your computer’s compatibility with Ecampus courses prior to the start of class.
