Note: This online program is not intended for those who want to advance to a health-related professional school in fields such as dentistry, medicine, pharmacy or physical therapy. Specialized pre-professional school options within the program are not available to distance students because they require the completion of specific courses that are not currently offered online by Oregon State. The program's advisors will work with you to ensure that your courses will help prepare you for future success.
Learn from world-class faculty
All online courses in the B.S. in Biohealth Sciences program are developed and taught by the same faculty in Oregon State’s Department of Microbiology who teach on campus. These instructors have a wide range of research interests including the role of microbes in human, animal and plant health.
