Coursework

This 27-credit program is offered through the School of Language, Culture and Society and is a mix of coursework, study abroad and/or language learning. Please note that your intercultural experience, including demonstrating language proficiency, does not count toward your 27 credits of study.

Once you are admitted, you can also work with your academic advisor about designing a personalized intercultural experience that fits your goals and schedule.

You can also meet this requirement by demonstrating language proficiency through a placement test, transfer credit or by completing the second year of a language at Oregon State or another accredited institution.
